The Head of Strategic Marketing sets marketing strategy and objectives for Cengage’s portfolio of Higher Education products and solutions, including print and digital components and services, to best support the HE and Vocational business in generating new sales opportunities and leads via direct and indirect sales channels. The Head of Strategic Marketing works with his/her team to develop and execute the marketing plans across all product lists. The Head of Strategic Marketing, Learning Solutions works with US counterparts to adapt and implement US Higher Ed initiatives for the UK, European, Middle East and African markets.
The position will report to the Director of Higher Education and will have 4 direct reports – 2 Marketing Managers, a Marketing Executive and a Marketing Assistant.
The candidate will need to demonstrate the following experience, knowledge and skills.
Extensive (at least 5 years’) experience in a Product Management or Marketing role
Solid experience in people management
